Bronycon 2016

A year after the fun of Bronycon 2015, it was time for horses in Baltimore again! Over the pervious year I had been chatting with Twianon, aka QTpony, and convinced him to go to Bronycon 2016 with me. After reaching the conclusion the only way for him to get there with his (now) two Twilights would be to drive from Michigan, I set up for myself to fly to him with my Twi (her first time flying) and then drive together, plushies in tow, to Baltimore.

She totally flew us to Bronycon, believe me. Upon arriving, we decided to some photos celebrating our Twis finally meeting, as well as some silly photos to celebrate the event.

It's interesting to note how, despite using the same pattern, two plushies could come out quite differently. We a bit of rumination on how that happened, we took some pictures of the purple gang hanging out

The next morning we packed the car full of purple and headed out.

The lifesize takeover

Bronycon 2016 was absolutely the year lifesize plushies exploded onto the scene. In addition to our car full of 3 lifesize Twilights, I had Corpulent Brony drive up a Spitfire and a Rainbow Dash I had made, as well as his own lifesize Twi I had made for him. Somehow, a quick stop of a bunch of our plushies at one of the tables in the hall ended up becoming a rather popular attraction with no less than about 6 of them sitting together, with Twizzle (TinyEquine) usually setting them up to do fun things like cards or sewing.

At some point later in the con, there was a meetup of pretty much all of the lifesize Twilight's there!
